I'm Richard, a film director from North Wales who now lives in Caerphilly. I make short films about small, strange things that turn out to matter: a signal that shouldn't be on the radio, a man waking up on a mountain with a suitcase.
I learned the job from the ground up: shadowing the assistant directors at Bad Wolf, running for a Sky Arts production with English National Ballet, and making my own films on tiny budgets with very good crews.
I'm looking for work in film and TV, and for people to make the next odd little film with. If that sounds like you, say hello.
